The antibacterial spectrum of this product is similar to that of mezlocillin sodium. The product is not resistant to penicillinase produced by Staphylococcus aureus and Enterobacteriaceae β- Lactamase. The drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to this product sometimes develops rapidly. The combination of aminoglycosides and this product can strengthen the effect on Pseudomonas aeruginosa and some other gram-negative bacteria.
